Paver Patios & Concrete in Medford, OR
Patios, walkways, driveways, and pads that stay flat and crack-free through Rogue Valley summers and freeze-thaw winters.
Outdoor floors built on a real base
Whether it is interlocking pavers, flagstone, or poured concrete, the surface you see is only as good as what is under it. More Life excavates to the right depth, compacts a crushed-rock base in lifts, and screeds bedding sand to a true plane before a single paver goes down. For concrete, we form carefully, set rebar or wire mesh, and cut control joints so the slab cracks where we want it to, not across your patio.
Customers in Medford and Central Point hire us for everything from a small hot tub pad to a full driveway with a walkway and front-porch extension. One crew, one quote, one clean finish.

Pavers or concrete? A quick guide
Pavers cost a bit more up front but never crack as a unit, can be lifted and reset if a utility line needs work, and come in dozens of colors and patterns. Concrete is the budget-friendly workhorse for driveways, pads, and long walkways, and a broom or exposed-aggregate finish looks sharp. Flagstone and DG suit casual garden paths and water-wise yards. We will walk you through the trade-offs on site rather than push one product.
Built for Southern Oregon weather
Medford sees triple-digit summer days and hard winter freezes. We size the base for freeze-thaw, slope every surface away from the house, and tie in drains where water collects. On clay soils common in White City and Eagle Point, that base prep is what keeps a patio from heaving.

Patios, Pavers & Concrete Questions
Question 1How long does it take to install a paver patio?
A typical backyard patio takes two to four days: excavation and base on day one, bedding and laying pavers on days two and three, then edge restraint and polymeric sand. Concrete pours are faster to place but need several days to cure before heavy use.
Question 2Will my concrete patio crack?
All concrete cracks eventually. The goal is to control where. We cut or tool control joints at the right spacing, reinforce the slab, and build a compacted base so any cracking happens in the joints, not across the surface.
Question 3Can you pour a pad for a hot tub or shed?
Yes. Hot tub and shed pads are some of our most common small jobs. We confirm the size and thickness your tub or shed manufacturer requires, then form, reinforce, and pour to spec.
Question 4Do you install paver driveways in Medford?
We do. Paver driveways use a thicker base and a driveway-rated paver. They handle vehicle loads well and individual pavers can be replaced if one is ever stained or damaged.
